Site Rules !     OOC Respect everyone in OOC. Everybody loves someone who is nice, respectful, and doesn’t hurt another's feelings over their opinion or likes/dislikes. No bullying. This is obvious. Don't intentionally hurt another's feelings, but if you do apologize immediately. If someone doesn't agree with you or has different opinions, don't try and tear them down. Don’t insult them or make fun of their opinions and thoughts. If you are a victim of bullying, tell them to stop. If they do not, feel free to pm any staff and we will deal with it. No intense swearing. We allow words like shit, crap, hell, damn, but the f-word is not, as well as other horribly degrading names or other names for body parts. Dick is okay. This shouldn't be too much of a problem considering the unacceptable words will be banned, but if you find a way around it and say them, you'll be punished. No sexually explicit scenes. This should be a common rule, but it means no rping sex. Feel free for the characters to make out, just nothing too detailed. If you'd like to do sex scenes, please, take it to pming. If you'd really like to, you can 'fade to black' and just put '---' to signify time passing, with the two making out before, No spoilers for the anime/manga. We don't want to give away the whole plot to the new watchers, now do we! It's fine if you'd like to discuss it with your buddies or anyone on the site in a thread, but at the top you must put in size 3 font or bigger, a warning.            In Character No romantic or sexual attraction to titans. You can have your character be any sexuality you desire, but nothing including titans. No romantic attractions or sexual attractions—which wouldn't really be possible considering titans have no sexual organs—because these people absolutely hate the titans. The titans don't have any feelings either—they'd probably just eat you. You may not be a character from the show. No. This is an obvious no. This should be obvious. Feel free to have you character based off of one from the show, but definitely not exactly like it. The staffers are allowed to have characters from the show if they'd like, but that's up to them. If they would like to, then we'd like them to pm ora, sav, or myself.  No extreme injuries without permission. This also depends on what military branch your character is in. If you'd like to know more about the military branches, check the encyclopedia. Anyways, arms or legs bitten off  you need permission for. Anything else is fine. You may have you character marry at the age of 18+. Anything before that is not acceptable. Boyfriends and girlfriends are fine. Do not just kill off you characters. Permission must be given, unless it is a plot. We would not like you to kill of characters you don't like. No stealing others' characters. You must type in English. Phrases in other languages are fine, as long as they are translated. You may roleplay NPCs. Yes, you may do this, as long as you don't make back stories from them. This means you can roleplay seeing things happen to other characters that have not been made. Character Creation You must have you application accepted. You must have you application accepted by any staff and moved to the 'Accepted' board to begin roleplaying. You must use the application form provided. Do not steal from the shop. You must have the right amount of cash for each item, and it must be approved by staff. Wait for a pm before you put it into use. Your characters hair cannot be past their shoulders. Hair would easily get in the way while battling if it's too long, and titans can grab it and drag your character towards them. The longest it can be is shoulder-length, or longer and in a ponytail. Your character cannot be too small or too big. If your character is too small, they would easily be crushed or broken, and if they're too big and muscular, they wouldn't be able to use the 3-D Maneuvering device without breaking it. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues. We don't want perfect characters. Have them have at least one flaw, though more would be good. You can read more about this in the Encyclopedia or the Creating Characters thread in the Applications board. Don't be overly dramatic with back stories. While it's fine for your character to have a tragic backstory, have at least two out of three characters have a peaceful backstory. If you want something super exciting and tragic, pm a staffer. The character limit is 3. Unless you are staff, of course. If you are staff, feel free to have three characters not including your staff account. Everyone is able to have an ooc account if you wish. And we have a one character per account rule, so no two or three characters on one account. You may only use European names. No American or British names, or anything else, really. Only European. Make sure you have both a first and last name. If you need help finding names, look in the Encyclopedia. Any race acceptable besides the ones across the world from North America. The only race that defies that rule is Japanese, but this race is very rare. Only ages acceptable in military are 11-39. If your character is younger then eleven, it cannot become a cadet. If they are 40, they must retire. We'd like all characters to die by the age of 80. Images & Templates Only use the application template provided for applications. Site images may not be bigger then 600x400 Only use the ic template provided for ic.
